Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova regarding the recent large-scale Ukrainian drone strike in the Kursk Region

The Nazi Kiev regime continues its barbaric attacks on the peaceful population of Russia. In the early hours of April 15, the Kursk Region was subjected to an unprecedented large-scale Ukrainian drone strike. A total of 109 drones deliberately targeted the housing sector and civilian infrastructure. As a result, an elderly woman was killed, and 24 blocks of flats were damaged, three of them severely, and an ambulance station lost 10 special-purpose vehicles.

The never-ending crimes of Vladimir Zelensky’s misanthropic regime appear particularly cynical against the backdrop of official rhetoric from Bankovaya Street regarding a supposed desire for peace. However, such declarations should not mislead anyone about the regime’s real goals and intentions. The criminal Kiev junta has no interest in resolving the conflict through diplomatic means and remains obsessed with the idea of inflicting a strategic defeat on our country.

Russia calls on the responsible members of the international community to condemn the crimes of Kiev’s Nazi regime against peaceful civilians and to demonstrate a resolute commitment to putting an end to the bloody actions of Zelensky’s gang.
