Mr Minister,

Dear friend.

We are delighted to welcome you to Moscow.

Thank you for accepting our invitation and agreeing to hold the sixth round of the Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council strategic dialogue in Moscow, due to start in the next few hours.

I would also like to note that this is a good opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between our states; we value these relations very much.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa maintain high-level relations based on mutual trust. I would like to note our cooperation at meetings of the Intergovernmental Russia-Bahrain Commission on Trade, Economic, Science and Technical Cooperation.

We will discuss bilateral relations and the regional agenda.
