Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Federative Republic of Brazil Mauro Vieira

On March 26, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke by telephone with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.

Mr Vieira expressed solidarity with the Russian people over the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue. He conveyed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and wished an early recovery to the injured.

The ministers resolutely condemned terrorism in all forms and manifestations.

They exchanged views on the situation in the Palestinian territories in the context of UN Security Council Resolution 2728 of March 25, and the preparations for the upcoming BRICS and G20 summits in Russia and Brazil, respectively.

The ministers also reviewed a number of bilateral issues.
