Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Foreign Minister of the Federative Republic of Brazil Mauro Vieira
On September 9, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira held a meeting during the seventh Russia-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue in Riyadh. In a constructive atmosphere, they discussed specific measures to advance the strategic partnership between Russia and Brazil.
The foreign ministers also addressed cooperation between the two countries at multilateral platforms, including the UN, BRICS, and the G20, and discussed separately the Ukraine crisis.
