Press release on the telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Russia and Uzbekistan
On October 26, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The ministers reaffirmed their mutual intention to continue energetic joint work on implementing the decisions of the two states’ leaders aimed at strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan.
Due to changes in their working schedules, the parties agreed to postpone Sergey Lavrov's visit to Tashkent, originally planned for October 28−29, to a later date.
