Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania

On February 8, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a working meeting with President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania.

The parties discussed current aspects of interaction between Moscow and Sukhum in various areas, as well as foreign policy coordination between the two countries. The mutual commitment to further strengthen Russian-Abkhaz relations in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership was confirmed.

Aslan Bzhania congratulated Sergey Lavrov and the entire team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the upcoming Diplomatic Worker’s Day.
