Foreign Ministry statement on personal sanctions against representatives of Australian military command, business leaders and journalists
In response to the tightening sanctions of the Australian government, applied to an increasing number of Russian citizens – officials and their family members, as well as representatives of the business community and the media – another 120 Australians, including leaders of security agencies, business leaders, experts and journalists who contribute to that country’s Russophobic agenda have been added to the Russian stop list. These persons are barred from entering the Russian Federation indefinitely.
Taking into account that the official Canberra does not seem inclined to abandon its anti-Russia policy line, and continues to produce new sanctions, Russia will continue updating its stop list.
