A screening of the documentary film "From Russia With Heart" in Noida
On February 11, with the support of the Russian Embassy and the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, a screening of the documentary film "From Russia With Heart" was held as part of the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC in Noida.
It was presented by the scriptwriter, correspondent of the documentary broadcasting editorial office of the "RT Doc" TV channel Dmitry Khrustalev.
Embassy's Spokesperson Petr Sizov addressed the audience with welcoming remarks. In his speech to students of journalism faculties of local universities, he noted the important role of such events in promoting freedom of the press, and specifically focused on violations of journalists' rights and the practice of double standards in Western countries.
The documentary was warmly received by the Indian public. The organizers of the event expressed hope for further festival cooperation with the Russian side.
