On February 12, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov hosted a brief meeting with Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly.

The parties engaged in discussions encompassing a broad spectrum of topics pertaining to the enhancement of international public relations and grassroots diplomacy, particularly in the context of fostering civilisational diversity and the unity of humankind. The Foreign Minister was introduced to the concept of the Global Public Assembly, which is scheduled to take place in Kazan this August.
