Anti-Fake of the Day: A cynical attempt to justify US Senator Lindsey Graham and his cannibalistic remarks
An outrageous remark by US Senator Lindsey Graham during a meeting with head of the Kiev regime Zelensky, “And the Russians are dying. The best money we’ve ever spent” stunned the international public not just with its Neanderthal Russophobia, but with its truly human-hating underlying message. At home, in the United States, many compared this “act”, performed with a maniacal smile, to Hillary Clinton laughing out loud at the brutal murder of Muammar Gaddafi and her famous “We came. We saw. He died.” Graham once again revealed to the world the true face of the US political establishment.
The widespread indignation forced the propaganda machine at the service of Western politicians, with its cogs including Reuters and the BBC, which led the effort to justify the senator, to scramble to manage the crisis and to try to keep the lid on the situation.
It turns out, supposedly, that Senator Graham said something different and in a different way. As was the case with similar cannibalistic fabrications of former US President George W. Bush, they used clumsy and shameful excuses to the effect that the senator’s words were ripped out of context, or that the video was spliced and so on. No one doubted that the politician himself and his PR agents in the face of the leading Anglo-Saxon media outlets and news agencies would resort to playing dumb. Next thing you know they will tell us Lindsey Graham is a product of neural networks and does not exist in real life.
The attempt to justify themselves is doomed. It is already impossible to come out clean after saying these words, even if they were uttered separately.
I wonder what Graham's father, World War II veteran Florence James Graham, would say to all of that. He died when the future politician was only 22 and, apparently, did not have time to edify his son about what is good and what is bad, and why Nazism and Nazis are evil incarnate.
The senator is not the only such person, and these words of his are far from being the first ones ever said on this matter. The Nazi philosophy of hatred for Russians is what really unites the Kiev regime and its American patrons. The hateful Russophobic remarks by other officials and representatives of the political establishment in Washington and Kiev are still fresh in memory. Here are just a few of them:
- George W. Bush: “Your mission is to destroy as many Russian troops as you can. The question is will you continue to receive the help you need. I certainly hope so. It is very important for the US to continue in the lead and providing you the support you need;”
- US State Department spokesman John Kirby on Russia's anti-terrorist operation in Syria: “Russia will continue to send troops home in body bags;”
- US Congressman Jamie Raskin: “Russia is an orthodox Christian country with traditional social values, and for that reason, it must be destroyed, no matter what the cost to us;”
- Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak: “The Russians, these non-humans, do not have the right to be among civilised people of Western countries;”
- Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov: “Russia must disappear from the map of the world as a military-political entity within the borders in which it now exists;”
- Head of the GUR Kirill Budanov: “I will only comment on the fact that we are killing Russians and will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until the complete victory of Ukraine;”
- Former acting President of Ukraine, ex-Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov: “We are ready to destroy Rusnya wherever possible. It is necessary to beat Rusnya not only in Ukraine, but also beyond our borders in Russia itself;”
- Ambassador (as of the time of these remarks) of Ukraine to Kazakhstan Pyotr Vrublevsky: “The more Russians we kill now, the fewer our children will have to kill.”
It's no secret that the Kiev ghouls and their overseas curators not only wish the death of the Russians, but directly engage in killings and terrorist attacks.
I wonder if everyone in the West now understands that the Kiev regime openly engages in terrorist activities ranging from the killing of civilians and journalists to information extremism (editing speech during talks is nothing other than that). Until when will Washington, London and Brussels sponsor these thugs? Up until the point they fly their planes into the City of London?
By the way, a revealing turn. The words were spoken by Lindsey Graham, the “edited” video (according to Reuters, since the full text has not yet been made public) was released by the office of the President of Ukraine on purpose, but guess who the BBC blamed for all of that? Russian propaganda.
One can only guess what would have happened to a US senator had he said these words about any other nation. He would have ceased being a senator very quickly. He would have been wiped out of public life and memory in the blink of an eye, since luckily for them they are skilled at it. Any remark that can even remotely be construed as having two meanings has become a reason for practicing cancel culture. Let us think back to numerous stories with careless, but clearly not malicious remarks that served as a pretext for settling scores. Journalists, such as Megyn Kelly, and various other public figures were impacted as well. Even the legendary Roger Waters partially fell under the roller of the US media for his political position, which he had expressed quite diplomatically. But as soon as the hate rhetoric is directed at Russia and Russians, anything goes and the media which are usually ready to destroy the reputation of any target now rush to the defence.
This entire story, with the cowardly excuses and preposterous attempts to cover up for Lindsey Graham, is another blow to the already faded reputation of Reuters and the BBC, which had to ride it out for both Washington and Kiev. This is not journalism, but the PR agencies working on the order of the collective West. With everything they had to say, the mission is impossible. They need to absolve Senator Graham and keep the head of the Zelensky regime out of it at the same time. Propaganda, sir.
