Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Barbados Mia Amor Mottley

On April 4, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Barbados Mia Amor Mottley.      

In the course of their conversation, they discussed the possibilities of developing bilateral political dialogue, trade and economic ties, as well as contacts between Russia and the Caribbean Community currently chaired by Barbados. In the capacity of CARICOM Chairwoman, Mia Amor Mottley touched on the prospects for resolving the situation in Haiti, taking into account the upcoming consideration of this issue by the UN Security Council.
