A telephone conversation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada J. Baird took place on 15 June.
The Ministers exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Canada and also discussed several international issues, including the situation in Syria and Iran's nuclear program.
