On November 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with Foreign Minister of Malaysia Saifuddin Abdullah, who arrived in Moscow on a working visit.

The ministers discussed the current state and development prospects of Russian-Malaysian relations and reaffirmed their mutual interest in intensifying political dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, investment and other practical fields.

They also exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
