On the basis of the incoming reports about armed confrontation in the Donetsk suburbs and casualties, we urgently contacted the OSCE leader and the OSCE's special monitoring mission deployed in Ukraine, requesting them to provide detailed data on the events there and the measures that are being taken to de-escalate the tensions according to the provisions of the mission's mandate and the roadmap of the Swiss presidency of the OSCE. We are waiting for objective and exhaustive data about this from the OSCE representatives and about the stopping of the military operation against their own people from the Kiev authorities.

We are concerned that the actions of the Ukrainian security forces in Donetsk, and the closing of Donetsk airport complicate the resolution of the humanitarian issues in interaction with Italy, which are related to the removal of the bodies of the Russian national Andrey Mironov and the Italian journalist Andrea Rocchelli, who died near Slavyansk, when it was subjected to a shooting attack by military persons. We trust that all the necessary conditions will be guaranteed.
