Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov Converses with Finnish President Tarja Halonen

On December 4, a conversation between Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and Finnish President Tarja Halonen took place in Helsinki on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.
During the conversation practical issues in further strengthening Russian-Finnish good-neighborly cooperation were discussed, along with the development of the political dialogue between our countries.
Topical problems in the politics of European security also were examined, including themes being considered at the current OSCE Minister Council.
