On August 24, talks were held in Moscow between Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhon of Cambodia.

The ministers held an exhaustive exchange of views on the state of and prospects for bilateral ties with an emphasis on the implementation of the understandings reached at the 10^th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cambodian Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, held in Moscow on August 23. They also confirmed closeness of Russian and Cambodian approaches to addressing current regional and international issues.
