After the military coup in Thailand the situation in the main areas of the country is calm. Therefore, the Thai military commander took the decision to cancel the curfew introduced earlier in three regions – Pattaya, Phuket and Ko Samui Island, which attract significant numbers of foreign tourists.

At the same time, the restrictive regime is still in force at night (from midnight to 4.00 am) in the remaining territory of the country, including Bangkok, as well as the large tourist centres of Hua Hin and Krabi.

We confirm our recommendation to Russian nationals to avoid visiting Bangkok for travel purposes and to continue immediately to their places of recreation, to be extremely cautious and to comply with all the requirements of law enforcement agencies, when in Thailand.
