Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov’s consultations with Deputy Foreign Minister of Uruguay Jose Cancela
On September 11, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov held consultations with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay Jose Cancela.
The parties exchanged views on their countries' bilateral agenda. Considerable attention was paid to the development of Russian-Uruguayan dialogue, intensification of trade and economic relations, and improvement of the legal base.
They discussed the main directions of bilateral cooperation at the regional and international levels, including within the UN, as well as issues of furthering development of Russia's dialogue with integration associations in Latin America.
