On a philanthropic hockey match in Singapore
On October 15, 2019 the Rink@JCube hosted a philanthropic hockey match “The Last Game”, co-organized by Moscow City Tourism Committee and Singapore Ice Hockey Association, dedicated to the global climate change issues. A Russian hockey legend Viacheslav Fetisov took the ice along with Singapore National Team players.
“The Last Game” program, initiated by Mr Fetisov, aims at raising awareness and calling attention to ecological problems worldwide. Similar matches were already played in the USA, Kenya, UAE, and Israel.
The first hockey puck was thrown in by Russian Ambassador to Singapore Andrey Tatarinov. Russian Embassy staff, members of the Russian community, and Singaporeans came to support the players.
