Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier
On March 30, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Lausanne.
The ministers discussed progress at the continuing talks between six international mediators and Iran on a comprehensive settlement of the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear programme.
They also discussed several other international issues, including the Middle East and the situation in Ukraine. Mr Lavrov again underscored the importance of ensuring the Kiev authorities’ compliance with their obligations under the Minsk Agreements. The ministers also discussed bilateral issues of mutual interest.
