Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Finland’s Foreign Minister Timo Soini
On September 29, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Finland’s Foreign Minister Timo Soini on the sidelines of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The two ministers discussed the development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of current international issues, including developments in Ukraine and Syria.
Mr Lavrov also drew the attention of his Finnish counterpart to the issue of children born into transnational marriages.
