Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Meets with Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag and Former German Foreign Minister

Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov on November 16 met with Chairman of the SPD Bundestag faction and former Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who is in Russia in connection with participation in the forum sponsored by the Russian-German Energy Agency in Yekaterinburg on the prospects of bilateral energy cooperation, business interaction, and the training of personnel for this field.
During their conversation they discussed a number of topical issues in Russian-German relations and on the international agenda.
