PRESS RELEASE

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Kislyak stayed in Teheran on January 24-25 as part of regular Russian-Iranian consultations. He held meetings with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IRI A. G. Khosru, Deputy Chairman of the IRI Supreme National Security Council S. H. Mosavian and Chairman of the Commission on Foreign Policy and National Security of the Islamic Council Assembly of the IRI A. Borujerdi. A wide range of questions of bilateral cooperation was substantively discussed, as well as questions pertaining to the transparency and peaceful character of the Iranian nuclear program.
