Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Meets Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Vuk Jeremic, in Madrid on November 29 on the fringes of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.

The interlocutors discussed the developments in the situation in Kosovo settlement in the run-up to the scheduled-for-December 10 report of the troika of mediators, Russia, the EU and US, to the UN Secretary General on the results achieved in dialogue on the province's status between Belgrade and Pristina.

An exchange of views took place on the agenda issues of the OSCE Madrid Ministerial Council.

Lavrov and Jeremic also examined some topical issues in bilateral relations.
