First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Valery Loshchinin Meets with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea Song Min Soon

PRESS RELEASE

On March 10 First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Valery Loshchinin received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea Song Min Soon, who is in Moscow to attend Russian-South Korean inter-MFA consultations.

During the conversation, questions pertaining to the development of bilateral relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea were discussed in the context of implementing the accords reached in the course of the two states' leaders' meeting held in September 2004.

The sides exchanged views on the situation around the settlement of the nuclear problem of the Korean Peninsula and affirmed their readiness to exert vigorous efforts towards the speediest resumption of the six-party negotiations.
