Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Foreign Minister of Suriname Niermala Badrising
On September 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Suriname Niermala Badrising on the sidelines of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The ministers signed an interstate treaty on basic relations.
They exchanged views on key aspects of the bilateral political dialogue, the expansion of trade and economic ties, cooperation within the UN, and Russia’s cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries and their integration associations.
