Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Foreign Minister of Belize Wilfred Peter Elrington
On September 21, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of Belize Wilfred Peter Elrington on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The ministers discussed the current state of Russia-Belize relations, the ways to intensify the bilateral cooperation in various areas and interaction between Russia and Belize at the UN.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a Protocol on political consultations between the Russian and Belizean foreign ministries.
