Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov Meets with Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Naser Joudeh

On September 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who is attending the 64th General Assembly session, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Naser Joudeh.

During the conversation, the sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved development level of Russian-Jordanian bilateral relations.

Issues relating to the Middle East situation, particularly in terms of the importance of the earliest possible resumption of the peace process, were also touched upon. In this connection Joudeh reaffirmed the urgency of holding an International Middle East Conference in Moscow.
