From 1980 Mr. Titov has held a number of diplomatic positions both in the headquarters of the Ministry and Russia’s missions abroad.
1993-1997 – Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Sweden.
1997-1999 – Director of the Second European Department.
1999-2004 – Ambassador of Russia to Bulgaria.
2004-2005 – Director of the Personnel Department, member of the Collegium of the Ministry.
2005-2013 – Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Since April 2013 – First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Diplomatic rank – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Awards: Orders of Merit for the Services to the Motherland III and IV class, the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Order of Honour and several others.
Married, one son.
