Russian Ambassador to India addressed the international conference "Russia and India: Towards a New Bilateral Agenda"

On March 27, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov addressed the international conference "Russia and India: Towards a New Bilateral Agenda" hosted by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).

He elaborated on prospects for Russian-Indian multifaceted cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally at such fora as the UN, BRICS, SCO, G20, etc., with an emphasis on close coordination in promotion of genuine multipolarity.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S.Jaishankar addressed the participants of the event with welcoming remarks.

Among the speakers at the thematic sessions were Russian Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergey Ryabkov and Andrey Rudenko, RIAC President Dr Igor Ivanov, RIAC Director General Dr Ivan Timofeev, prominent Russian and Indian political scientists and experts.
