Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission
On December 3, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, on the sidelines of the 22nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade.
The officials discussed certain issues of Russian-EU relations, the situation around Libya, and the conflict in Syria with particular emphasis on the fight with terrorism in the country and prospects for a political settlement.
