On September 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita on the sidelines of the 77th UN General Assembly session in New York.

The ministers discussed a number of current bilateral issues, including preparations for a regular session of the Mixed Intergovernmental Russian-Moroccan Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

They reaffirmed their mutual striving to maintain the political dialogue on global and regional issues of common interest.
