Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita

On November 10, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita on the sidelines of the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi.

During their trust-based conversation, the ministers discussed the development priorities of the entire complex of bilateral relations. Moscow and Rabat reaffirmed their commitment to deepening coordination of efforts to ensure regional and international stability, as well as resolve the ongoing crises in the Middle East and the Sahara-Sahel region through political and diplomatic methods, relying on the fundamental principles and norms of international law, with the central role of the UN.
