Sergey Lavrov: We have many proverbs reflecting the Russian disposition and mindset: “Measure seven times and cut once,” “The Lord endured and so we are commanded to endure.” But patience, when tested time and again, inevitably comes to an end.
There is one more proverb that Western officials should keep in mind: “A Russian takes a long time to harness his horse...” I’m sure the viewers know the ending.
