An award ceremony for the winners of the oratory competition in Trivandrum

On August 8, the Russian House in Trivandrum, Kerala hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the oratory competition organized by the Indo-Russian Students' Club. More than 30 participants were trying to get the maim prize.

The topics of the competition were "Russia's Role in the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy" and "Alexander Pushkin - the Father of Russian Language and Literature".

Two students of the Sai Krishna School, S. Nranjan and I. Abid, were awarded vouchers to the international camp "SAMOTSVETY" in Novouralsk. The prizes were provided by the State Corporation "Rosatom".

Honorary Consul of Russia and Director of the Russian House in Trivandrum Ratish Nair and famous film actress Sona Nair and Chairman of the Child Welfare Commission, K.V. Manoj Kumar, the members of the jury, highly appreciated the achievements of the South Indian students in studying Russian history and literature.
