On the regular session of the children's Russian language camp in Uganda

On May 5-15, the Greenhill Academy hosted the regular session of the children's Russian language camp.

35 teenagers aged 14-20 participated in the project. The camp program included a short introductory course in Russian language and culture, online vocal lessons, workshops and traditional games.

The participants celebrated the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, held actions "Immortal Regiment" and "Candle of Memory", and also watched the movie "T-34".

The program included an online meeting with the Hero of the Russian Federation, cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, and a screening of the film "The Challenge".

The camp was repeatedly visited by representatives of the Russian Embassy in Uganda, leaders of youth associations and students of the «Russkiy Mir» Cabinet.

At the end of the event, all participants received personalized certificates. The program received high marks from the leadership of the Greenhill Academy.
