Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Vice President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz

On April 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Vice President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, who is in Russia on a working visit.

The officials discussed practical issues of bilateral cooperation within the framework of successfully developing Russia-Cuba strategic partnership, taking into account the results of the 13th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which was held in Kazan on April 22 (Mr Cabrisas chairs the Cuban segment).

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship, trust and mutual understanding, as is traditional for Russian-Cuban contacts.
