Press release on the meeting of Russian, Chinese foreign ministers

On July 25, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi held a meeting in Vientiane on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit Ministerial Meeting.

The officials discussed promoting Russia-China cooperation, as well as pivotal issues of mutual interest on the international and regional agenda, including bilateral interaction in the Asian regional structures and the situation in Northeast Asia.

Particular attention was paid to the preparations for the 2016 G20 Summit to take place in China in September.
