Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu

On February 9, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The ministers discussed the implementation of the agreements on the cessation of hostilities in Syria and assistance in launching productive talks between the Syrian Government and the opposition in Astana and Geneva.

They also discussed the further development of bilateral Russian-Turkish cooperation.
