Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif

On February 17, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The sides discussed bilateral cooperation, including the upcoming contacts at different levels.

The ministers also considered pressing international issues, and continued their exchange of opinions on the Syrian crisis in the wake of the Astana meeting on Syria.
